Stanley Cup Playoffs
Is anyone watching the Stanley Cup playoffs? If so how do you feel about the lack of penalties being called against the Penguins. Several penalties have been overlooked over the past two games and have resulted in goals for the Penguins seconds later. The announcers are astounded also stating that thus far thru four games that this is the least penalties in the last 64 years. Just wanting to let some steam off and not trying to upset any Penguin fans.

D-troit s*cks. I think that is how the chant goes but I am just bitter as a Blackhawks season ticket holder. If Pit is getting away with it, it is because they are the league golden boys. Everywhere you turn it is sid the kid, I think he is awesome but man do I hate him because the league rams him down your throat. Go Penguins.

Crosby is awsome and the Penguins are definetly a good team but it appears that the league does not want what happened to them last year in the finals so they are going to take it into their own hands and try to get it to seven games, t.v money, ticket sales, more concession sales at the arenas and who doesn't like a game seven. I don't mind the Red Wings losing if they are out played but as you seen in Chicago.... that ain't gonna happen.

Wings suck! Penguins suck! Blackhawks suck!

...And my team won't evene make it through the first round, so I'm just a bitter Predators season ticket holder. Don't pay me any mind.

With that said, I'd like to see the Penguins win, just because I really, really don't like Detroit.

GOOOOOOOOOO PENGUINS!!!!!!! Malkin and crosby are takin it home this year, its not gonna be another season like last year.
but about the penalties... it was very obvious there where 6 men on plus fleury, seams fishy to me, but twise is probably right, tv, advertising and money! there gonna take it to game 7.

i was wondering if there where any hockey fans up here
good thread!

i came home early from a bluegrass festival just to watch the game tonight lol.

Any hockey fan will tell you that the Wings are a dominating team. It's obvious that it takes help from the officials to make it a series. The NHL does not want it to end early like last year. Hence the no calls for penalties on the Penguins. I am positive that Penguin fans do not want to win this way. But oh well. I guess thats life.

i did notice that the wings didnt seem as into it when they were playing in the igloo, dont know if they were intimidated or what.. but the first two games in detroit where brutal, the wings where all over the pens, i'm nervous as hell right now, it seems letang has really stepped up. and if zetterburg would stay off crosbys *** it would help too lol. 10 more minutes till game time!

i think i remember a couple hooking penalties against the wings that where over looked... hmmmm

Check the scoreboard. This is what happens when the refs call the obvious penalties. Wings: 5 Penguins: 0

Wow, that was a old school as* kicking. Zetter was all over Crosby again and they looked like men playing boys, what can you say about Datsyuk he is the MVP in my oppinion and I hate (no really hate) Detriot. Come on Pitt I cant take another year of hearing "defending champs detriot red wings."

I think I could hear it in stereo on the tv at the end of the game, D-troit s*cks D-triot s*cks. It was the sound of Chicago and Pitt singing it together. What a great game and the best part was that it was in hokeytown (no C needed).
