I've got about 105K miles on my 2003 PSD, 10K of those are mine (bought it at 95K).
Never seemed to have cooling issues (coolant or oil temps) when just running the truck, although the oil temps did seem to rise a little high when pulling the travel trailer.
However, lately I'ved noticed that even when just running the truck down the highway for an hour or so, the oil temps seem to be getting a little high, and trailer towing now really pumps them up. Can't remember the oil temps right off the top of my head but it seems like I'm seeing 205+ on truck alone, and 220+ on pulling the travel trailer.
Am I looking at a new oil cooler? And an EGR cooler?
if the engine oil temp gets 20-25 degrees higher than ect then the cooler is restricted.put a oil cooler and egr cooler on and flush the coolant system.i also install a new t-stat just for safe measures.

Doesn't the most recent TSB state that a 15 *F differential (EOT and ECT) is the point at which to be concerned with a plugged oil cooler?
