fuel gauge?

hey last time i filled my truck with fuel the gauge to about 15 miles to come back up to full. any thoughts?

Did you fill it while the truck was on or the Key (only) in the ignition? Similar things happen to mine if I forget to take the key out.

Mine does it too periodically. Didn't start doing it till last summer. Mine seems to pop back to full after a few miles. My dealer told me "yea they start to do that after a while, unless you wanna replace the sender." I noticed that it only acts up, and its very sporadic if i let it go below 1/4 empty. If i fill up at 1/2 or fuller, its fine. However it hasn't done it in a few months. I wouldn't be to concerned about it.

Mine started doing that about 6 months ago.......its done it twice now....sometimes takes 1-2 tanks of gas to get back to working normal.....

I think a couple of us reached the conclusion its pretty normal for alot of ford vehicles over the years and doesn't seem to get any worse....so i'd leave it alone...
