my king pins are out on my 59 f100. ok the only king pins i can fine for my truck are the ones that have to be reamed to fit it and i dont have the tool to do it and cant find any one in the dallas /ft worth area that does them. some one told me that you can buy nylon king pins that dont have to be reamed. does any one know were i can find these? or can find the right tool to do them? or know were you can get them done? thanks
Maybe for your storm door, not for a truck! It just can't be that no one in Dallas has a Sunnen honing machine, or the proper reamer. Any big-truck repair shop likely has them, NAPA does it here. Worst case, you can buy the official Ford reamer on eBay for about $50 - $75 and re-sell it after you use it for nearly as much.
You might give Antique Auto Supply, in Arlington a call, see if they know who does it. 817-275-2381
is there a certain reamer that i need. i really dont know what im looking for and plus i have two 59s so if i could fine one for that much ill just buy one and keep it. thanks ill give napa a call in the morning.

I needed to replace my kingpins in my F-600. I took the front axle to American Frame and Axle in Kent, Wa and they used a Sunnen Hone to do the holes and then used 0.010 oversized king pins. When it was all done it steered like there was ball bearings in there.
