New, with questions
I own a 08 toyota yaris and a 89 honda accord. However i have always wanted a truck, and lately being stuck with a yaris doesnt allow me to take my boat or atv anywhere, which is not good. I also have a car i need to trailer. I dont know if any of you have seen a yaris, but it is not the best for towing/hauling things such as that.
I have been looking at trucks for a while, mostly chevy's (i suppose that can be a bad word around here)
Anyways i recently gave fords some looks, because i want to keep my options open. I found a 2002 Ford f250 superduty regular cab, for 9,996. It is from a ford dealer, and has just under 27k miles under it. Now im no genious in pricing trucks, but that seems a little low. There is a small dent maybe about 6x4 inches towards the back of the truck, and someone installed and aftermarket head unit. Other than that, it looks stock...but it still seems way lowwwwww. The dealer said (well obviously he would) that it runs and drives fine. So im gonna go take a look at it tomorrow.
And also, i believe it has the 5.4 litre engine producing 260hp and 350ft/lb of torque. Substantially better than my yaris' 105hp, well after over 1000$ in performance parts ill give it the benefit of the doubt...113. Is that going to be substantial towing a car ( i would like to be able to tow my old accord for racing, since id be trading in my primary race car the yaris) And does anyone know the the 0-60 specs.
And any input on whether the deal sounds right or not is great
Thanks yall
Lucas
