fmx shifter
i have a 72 ford pickup with a 351w/fmx in it. does anyyone know if the fordomatic from 1957 to 1981 is the same transmission as the fmx transmission? i need to find a shifter for the fmx transmission. i have found a shifter for the fordomatic from 57-81 and would like to use it if possible but i have yet to find an fmx shifter besides lokar's shifter. does anyone know of any companies i could get one from or i could use a column shift out of ford pickups that used this column shift for the fmx. does anyone know which years of pickups had these? sorry so long
