$1000 to spend on aftermarket...WHAT to buy?

Given this scenerio...what is the best value to spend $1000 on?

Let's say you buy a used 2008 6.4 Ford F250, and you have $1000 left over in your budget to spend on "something".

Where would you spend the $1000...and why?

You could put it back in the bank...naahh, that wouldn't be any fun. I guess it would depend on what is already on the truck. Running/nerf bars was the first thing I put on mine, cuz it was too hard to get into withot 'em. Then a bull bar, followed by bedliner (Amerigard). But far away the coolest thing I added was this:

That set me back about 30 bucks....oh, also notice the center tie downs--about 30 bucks also from Northern Tool (makes tying down two dirt bikes a lot easier).

It is a Lariat model and already has running boards, custom wheels, 6" lift, bedliner, bull bar, and ranch-hand rear bumper.

I'm not really looking for cosmetic answers...the cosmetics are 100% just fine.

It already has a spray-in liner.

Save a little more money and put on a DPF delete. Nothing like more power.

I was thinking if I saved a couple hundred $$ more I could buy that Spartan DPF Delete combo deal on eBay.

That is where I was leaning towards spending the $1000.

I would address the audio, new speakers all the way around, subwoofer (or two), and a decent amp. Even if you have the audiophile system from Ford, aftermarket stuff will sound much better.

If you go the DPF delete, I bet you could make some $$ selling it on eBay. Or at least offer it up to some of the guys on this site who are having trouble with theirs.

sounds like the truck looks tough cosmetically; so go with the spartan dpf/cat delete and put some real snort in her. I just put that setup on my truck and let me tell ya, it's fricken awesome! Best money I've spent on aftermarket stuff.

Buy a Dieselsite external tranny filter kit, a bypass coolant filtration system and a Mag-Hytec tranny pan. Nothing like piece of mind.

This is the route I went with the $1000 to spend.
What I purchased:
2 Pioneer 12" subs (slim "pancake" subs)
Custom built box to maximize the limited airspace - will be carpet matched and mounted under the rear seat. Yes...I'm losing that folding rack, but really don't care. Don't use it anyways.
Focal Amp (700w I think)

Should have it all installed on Wednesday. Can't wait to get my SOUND back.

I'm jealous. If you get a chance, send some pics. I'd like to add to my system and I'm curious how all your stuff fits in there.

If you visit my profile, look in my photo albums, you can see the crappy job I did. I put my Kicker in during an afternoon off in a hotel parking lot. It was fun but I could have made it look better.
