I have 94 ford f150 5.0L. The fuel pump would not prime when i turned the key on and i did not get spark I had to replace the eec-IV and i got the fuel pump to prime I also replaced the coil ,cap rotor, remote ignition module because i was not getting spark I got spark. The problem is now that i just replaced the EEC-IV i have th fuel pump prime but i figured out the the injectors are not injecting fuel into the system what are all the thing that control the injectors ? I definitly know that it is the injector because when i dump gas into the throttle body it starts and runs for a few seconds. Does anyone ever had this problem and have any advice?
If you read the thread you'll get some ideas for troubleshooting, but here are a few things:
1) check for proper fuel pressure
2) feel or listen to an injector or two during starting to make sure they aren't pulsing.
3) check that the injectors have 12V power with the key on
4) if you can get a noid light plug it in & see if the injectors are getting a signal
5) check for electrical continuity between injectors & 60-pin ECM connector & around the TFI. You could have pulled something loose while working on it.

I bought two used ECM's. Both were A9L batch codes from Mustangs that I bought from eBay sellers. The first, which didn't work, was $87. The second was $125 (plus $8 shipping). I don't know if you'd be able to find one that matches your truck on there though. To use an A9L you'd have to make some changes.
I got an EEC-IV from a junk yard and they said that they had a bronco running on it I get the fuel pump to prime for two seconds when the key is turned on but something is not triggering the injectors could it be that it is an A9L computer and could that cause the injectors not to work and if so what kind of changes do you have to make on it for it to work
1994 ford F150 XLT 5.0 Tonight i had a friend turn the key on and off while i put my hand on the 5 cylinder injector and when the fuel pump would then prime and then i could feel the injector work to put some fuel into the cylinder then i tried 6,7,8 injector and could not feel it initialize to put some fuel into the cylinder I could not get my hand on 1,2,3,4 injector i checked with a test light and 5,6,7, and 8 injector and when the key is on the test light would light on all the wires on 5,6,7, and 8 injectors does anyone have any ideas on what could be doing this or had any problems like this???
You have the wrong PCM Computer in the truck. A A9L will not work unless you do a lot of rewiring.
Does it say A9L on it or did they just tell you that?
What transmission do you have?
What is the Calibration Number off the drivers door post?
Do you still have the PCM computer that came with the truck?
What year bronco did it come from? 94-95 were different than all other years, so if it came from a 93 or earlier it wouldn't work. But if it's firing the #5 injector I think it must be the same. If it were an earlier computer it would only be firing #1 & #2 injectors. Have you checked the wiring between the injectors & the ECM yet? You should have 12V on all the red wires going to the injectors, & you should have near zero resistance between the injector plug & the ECM plug (check between injector #1 & pin 58, #2 & pin 59, 3 & 39, 4 and 35, 5 & 15, 6 & 12, 7 & 13, 8 & 14).
True on the Injector and pin numbers for 1994-95.
But if it is a A9L:
Injector #3 - pin #12, 4 - 13, 5 - 14, 6 - 15, 7 - 42, 8 - 52.
The only ones that would be right is #1 at 58 and #2 at 59.
Note that Injector # 7 & 8 would never fire.
I finally got it running. For the fuel pump not to priming it was the EEC-IV computer went bad and the reason for the injectors not working was a loose wire in the connector for the EEC-IV. So thanks for all the great advice.
