A.R.E. to be installed next week....
I have an A.R.E topper being installed next week (2006 F250 CC PSD Short bed), and it will be installed with the e-locker option that will have the lock wired to the trucks unlock system, so the trucks key fob will unlock the topper when all doors are unlocked.
I have ordered the Upfitter switch kit from an FTE sponsor and will be getting that sometime soon hopefully.
My question for the veterans out there..... while the guys are installing the A.R.E and doing some wiring, I'm thinking of asking them to run a coupl e of wires when they do the install so that **IF** there is anything that I need to power back in the topper, I'd be ready to add it to the upfitter switch assembly.
Comments? Cautions? Suggestions?
