Ok, I'm driving to work on the freeway today and notice a shimmy in the truck. Just had tires rotated and balanced 2 weeks ago. Got to work and notice the truck seems like brakes are dragging and feels like a warped rotor. Got out and felt the wheels, the drivers side rear is almost to hot to touch. What do you guys think, caliper froze or just sticky slide pin? And how do I check this? Thanks in advance, John
I just replaced the right rear caliper and flushed the system today. Glad I did, the fluid coming out of the bleeders was a watery grey/brown color....
Probably never been done and I've got 280,000 kms on it. Still have to get the emergency brakes done but at least I know my system is in better shape than it was yesterday.
PROBLEM SOLVED!!!! $50 bucks an a hour and a half of my time. Replaced the drivers side rear caliper and I'm in business. Thanks for the help guys. Rep points for all!! John
