The D2PF-GB carb you have is from a 1972 FoMoCo Passenger Car 302/351W.
All 1970/74 2100 carbs have a choke pull off diaphram mounted into the air horn. All you see is its L shaped rod protruding from its cover.
DOAZ9J549C .. Choke Pull-Off Diaphram (Motorcraft CM1283) - Does not come with the carb kit / Obsolete
Can be bought from autoparts stores, over 200 are still available from Ford Dealers, obsolete parts vendors.

It's very similar to the original 2V carb, except it has an automatic choke with a choke pull-off diaphram, otherwise it's pretty much the same.
