Better axle/tcase lubes
Eric, that depends on where you live. I think the normal gear lube that Ford recommends is fine for a lot of us. BUT if you live someplace where cold weather happens (I am in Michigan), some of the synthetics maight be worth the extra $$. I have shifted a NP435 at -10* with normal lube in it, it is almost impossible untill the trans warms up a bit. But with synthetic in it, shifting seems almost normal. Sure makes winter easier........DF
