leaking again!!!

I need to know if they make a gasket for the ip adapter housing. I have sillyconed it twice now it it is leaking again right in the front where it fits over the front plate on the engine. I called autozone and they have no idea what I am talking about. If they don't make a gasket for this do you guys have any suggestions on what to use to fix it for good. This last time I used permatex ultra black and it lasted about a month and a half.

It is imperative that it is 100% oil free, Brake clean on a rag till you think it's clean, grab a clean rag and do it again! I go one step further, I use alcohol wipes after brake clean!

This applies to rubber gaskets and silicone most importantly.
But all gasket surfaces should be contaminant free.

I remember now, there is a trough in the bottom of the cover that gets a bead of RTV.
Let the RTV set up rather stiff before you install the cover.

Oil free surfaces before you put the RTV on the cover and install it.
