Hey Chris - sounds like you're getting lots done. Took care of a few odds and ends before church, just getting something to eat now and it'll be back at it for me also. Little bit of light rain here this morning but seems that's been replaced with hazy sunshine.

 

I wish it would dry out here so I can get some yard work done

 

Hello my PA brothers whats been going on? I'm still in Iraq and was talking to my buddy yesterday who is back home he ask me what the temperature was at 8PM when we were talking I told him it was pretty cool at 105 F. During the day that day my meter on my A/C tool said 133 F and a few days before the while playing it hit 140 yuck.

 

Hey Mike! Before I forget - thank you for your service and come home safely, man.

I just got in from the store and the thermometer on the truck said 70 with off and on rain showers today. Just enough to dampen the final day of Thunder in the Valley (the local biker rally event). I can't imagine dealing with the 130's and 140's all day long, especially in full gear.

Hi all. My apologies for not stopping by more often. Got my hands full with 2 jobs and the usual stuff. 2nd job is interesting to say the least. My life has been kind of screwy for the last year or so. I didn't realize it but what I needed was a project big enough to challenge me. 15 poorly maintained trucks, several more trucks that are repairable but deadlined for various reasons and a well equipped but totally disorganized shop make for real head scratching. The owners are nice folks who know they have problems and figure I'm the guy to solve them. I'm running my **** off and enjoying every minute.

Clay - glad you can peek in when possible. I've been keeping busy myself and in fact Monday and Tuesday of this week are already spoken for with construction work I never intended to get into, but have. One is to finish up some masonry work for a friend, the other is to help build on to a house that, if I understand correctly, will be used as part of an outreach to the homeless and less fortunate. That's an ambitious project that's allegedly to be done within 10 days. Should be fun.

 

Hey gents no longer a soldier just a civilian who works with soldiers, I think it keeps me close enough to my old Army days that I don't miss them.
