Going to try to keep the Midwest weather out of my cab. Does anybody have any do's and donts on removing the old and installing the new weather stripping? Any bit of knowledge small or large will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Cbass
Well, I'm not quite that far along yet. But from what I understand in listening to the crowd here is about 80% of the battle is getting the weather stripping from the right people.
Apparently some of the strips are made with a a harder rubber and keep the door from closing correctly. I would definately make sure the door surface is very clean, and use 3M Weatherstrip Advesive to glue them down.
Some of the guys that have done that, or gotten stuck should be along to tell you about which strips to use and which ones to stay away from.
