I say Goverment Management--Kinda a oxymoron...The government can't manage anything...I remember hearing something like spend $500 for a toilet seat! Wait till they want to shut down some of the plants...local government will yell to their congressman and fight the closure...I can see this going nowhere real fast...
And what about the vehicles they will produce? It will be politically motivated not consumer motivated. So they will never be profitable and we will need to support them for the rest of their life like we do the railroads.
If the Government was in charge of the Sahara Desert, there would soon be a shortage of sand.
I'd never buy one now, not that I was all that partial to them before. The IRS will probably have a line item on your tax form where you can get a credit or deduction for buying a gov't motors vehicle. How else are they gonna sell them? They'll have to penalize ford to make GM cars look attractive.
Godawful Makes. Gawdy Motors. Got Milk? (haha), Gas Mongers, Got Money? (hahaHA!!!) Gov't Meltdown, Godawful Manufacturing. Given Money, Go....Maybe. Still thinking of some more.
Geely's Mate (china brand), Gettin' Mo', Gonna Moan, Gotcha Moola, GED Managed, Given Many Crutches (GMC...sorry hahaha), Generally Maimed. Now I'm just p***ing around.
Aside from the relevance of "this being a ford site ",, why is it all of a sudden, most can't afford to" buy a vehicle" .
Ford had more money in the bank ,so to speak, GM & Chrysler were going along fine ...Then ....AIG ,Lehman Bros,Ridiculously (artificially) high fuel cost , ect .
I'm tired of the government blaming every one but them selves for the meltdown .
Now ,for some reason ,,the economy is on the rise (at least enough for oil speculation) to put the hurt on what is left...
