Well as of you may have seen my transmission just died this weekend and I talked to Brian this morning and what a nice guy. He told me if I could get it over there one day this week he would get it rebuilt and swapped out the same day. The best part of the whole deal is that I can watch and see what was wrong with mine.

Now I just have to figure out how to get the truck the 200 miles from Tulsa to Lead Hill. Don't think they would appreciate me driving in reverse that far.

This sucks when your truck is down.

 

Sucks to hear but you will love the BTS tranny. maybe you can cut a deal with a towing company for a one-way haul.

 

Hey Ted, I think I'm going though Tulsa on my way to BTS next weekend. We're coming from far SW Kansas and it's a better shot to go through Oklahoma. Would be coming through your area on Sunday mid to late evening. I've got to be at the shop by 8am Monday June 8th. If you had a bumper pull flatbed that you could get your truck on, I could probably hook onto it and get you there. Gooseneck won't work this trip cause I'll have parts in the bed of mine. Then all you'd have to do is tow the empty trailer when done.

I figure if I'm heading to BTS and going though there, then why not. If Brian will have time Monday or Tuesday to get it done then it could work out to get you and your truck there. Heck even if you can't jump in with us for whatever reason, I could still get it there for you. Then whatever vehicle you take up there to get the truck, you will have the trailer to bring it back.
