Coolant Filtering System Ordered

Well, after much consideration and feedback from the last post about what filtering system to go with https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...which-one.html , I decided to go with Dieselsite's coolant filtering system http://www.dieselsite.com/index.asp?...WPROD&ProdID=8 . If I had the time, I would have liked to build my own like SpringerPop did but with everyday life, kids, work, ect, I figured I'd get this kit, everythings there. Thanks for all feedback and Pop for the do it yourself kit, much appreciated everyone. Also, Roland, thanks for the kind offer on the Blue coolant hose, it should look great in there along with the blue AIH delete from Clay. Also, Ryan (Strokersace), with the filter housing hitting the top of your hood a bit, I wonder if I could drill some holes on the bracket just below the ones that are already there, to lower it a bit, wonder how that would fit, i'll see when I install at the clearances. Pics and writeup when it comes...

you will be impressed. Bob's stuff is always top drawer. I've done several for myself and others and never had a fitment problem. I remember staring in amazment at all the sand that came out of my bottom hose the first time I changed coolants. the filter is a very good idea.

Thanks Barney, really looking foward to it, I always took care of my truck but after changing my thermostat and housing and looking at all the gunk, I'll feel better now. Pics of the thermo-housing change are in my gallery if anybody wanted to see the mess..

I would think probably 2-3 feet for your application, assuming that you will be putting it where it is designed to go. You could probably get by with 2, but you might get 3 just to have a little extra.

Hey Mike. You'll be happy with it I'm sure. You could modify the mount to sit down alittle more. I was going to this weekend and just didn't get around to it.

I did however, adjust my hood latch up just a little as well as adjust the height on the pass side bump stop and it seemed to help. Still a little off, but not near as bad!

Thanks fellas, Just talked to Roland and he's hooking me up with 4 foot just to be safe. If you all could throw a rep to Roland for the kind gesture, he's always here for us and a great fella indeed. Ryan, I'll let you know how it fits, and or if I have't to modify. Plenty of pics Andrew, I like them too.. Adam, coolant dialyisis is good .Ken, stay safe bud and I'll have a writeup when you get back home..
