VIN Decoding help
Is it possible to tell which wheelbase option I have by reading the VIN number? I've got a 99 F450, the e-brake cable is shot, and I'd like to replace it. The parts guy I deal with gave me like 5 wheelbase options, and I've got no one nearby to help hold a tape for me anytime soon. Sometimes living int he sticks sucks. I bought the truck used, and it was never declared which option I've got.

The wheelbase is listed under "WB" on the vehicle certification (VC) label which normally can be found towards the bottom of the drivers side b-pillar. Its the same label that contains tire pressure information...
