Brake Boost part number help
guys, I'm looking for a source or the part number for the rubber grommet that slides over the bar from the brake pedal through the firewall. Section 23 of the parts list shows a partial number 2L109, but I'm not sure if this is part of the actual number.
All of the brackets have been powder coated, the booster was hand sanded, primed and painted, all I need to put it back to together is this grommet. The one I have is split, top and bottom.

In my copy of the parts catalouge the basic part number (2L109) is preceeded by a black star. This means that because of the nature of the part Ford believed there would be little or no demand for a replacement part and therefore never offered one.
Your best bet would probably be a salvage yard.

Thanks, I can stop my search for that and start looking for a donor. My wife just loves it when I bring home complete trucks just to get the "thing I'm looking for now"...
My goal is to restore the truck as close to original as possible using Ford parts. So far, so good but's taken me 5 years to get where I'm at now.
