What the heck Stinks?

No not diesel fumes...

The new tires... Stunk up my garage... Smells to clean.

Thought i would get the same tires i had on there before. They road nice, quiet and wore evenly. $670 All said and done. Plus i had the NYS Inspection done. The guys at the garage can't believe it is an '01 NY truck.

Never seen salt. Never will.

Thought i would share.

VERY nice ride!! Are those Laredos load range E? I had them on my old truck (Bronco) and they seemed okay. I wanted to stay with LR E tires this time, so I went with Good Year Wrangler Silent Armors. Excellent tire! Out the door for a bit over $800. From the Ford dealer, no less!

Nice looking truck Dan. Clean too. If you ever get the chance to see Rick Millers engine bay you will be amazed at how clean it is.

Runs like a million bucks. Even better now it is clean.. That is funny, It always runs and drives better clean... I am pretty much finished with it except some little things, you know "DP TUNER" Might try the Summit racing pass through muffler also.

Seen Ricks Pictures of his engine bay.. His is cleeeeeeann. Mine is clean also, Maybe park next to him for some 1 on 1 ? LOL..

O yea.. Put in the Famous Shaffers 9000 SYN last week.. NO MORE of the "romps" on those chilly mornings.. Yeehaw.. 15 seconds on the GP and away she goes. This morning it was 55 out. She took off right away no GP and no romps.. I am amazed.

Talking

Dan

That is one clean engine bay. You rock.

It looks like your coolant is low though.

You do have a good looking engine bay. I think I will do more cleaning. I agree, lets put them side by side and let them judge. . I sure hope this will get more people interested in getting the engine cleaner.

Last year i cleaned it with Gunk,Tooth Brush,Mineral spirits, paint brushes and anything else that would work.. Took for ever. If i had to, i removed it and took it to work and let it soak in the parts cleaner..

Now that is done. Now, i just hit it with my simple green and the garden house. When it is dry, I spray on my tire shine. (which helps from the grime from sticking for the next cleaning time). Squirt the tires/Squirt the engine bay. I always spray the bay when i wash the truck.. Keep up on it.

This is what i use for shine. Dollar General for $5. had to find something cheap because i go through so much of it.

The reason i had the picture was i took the picture with my cell phone and texted my wife to pick up more. Ran out.. She was out shopping.
