My 05 6.0 did the same thing. Was the HPOP and the FICM. Luckily it was still under factory warranty as the tab was a little over $3000. They even picked up the wrecker fee.
well its out of warranty, so this should get interesting. 122000 miles. I was going to trade it in last month but wasn't really comfortable with the 6.4 either. Now I'm really considering a GMC maybe get a deal on the impending bankruptcy
If you buy a GMC you can always pick up stamps at the Post Office and get your oil changed at the same time since the government is going to back GM Warranty.

Nice! I hope they check the box. Last time I used the drop box, they checked the VIN, cut a new key, looked up my contact info, and called me about 10 o'clock asking what I wanted. Dumb asses never checked the drop box and they needed it out of their service lane.

sounds like HPOP to me also. mine did almost the same thing just started running ruff skipping,shuttering what ever you want to call it then just died finally got it to run againe after i changed the oil but it just died againe rollbacked it to the ford dealer $2400 later running just fine this happend at around 125,000 miles
