I do believe that the manual telescoping/folding power adjustable mirrors are heated. I do know that they were on my 05 SD. They are on my F150 also. I have also found that the EATC system to be a PITA after it gets some age. If you don't do your own work, it can be expensive to maintain and repair.

Had to look up EATC. I've never had a vehicle with it. I've never had a vehicle with dual climate control. Hell, I had a hard enough time on my '03 F-150 keeping the blower running on every switch position.
I wouldn't let the lack of EATC be a deal breaker, but I would not option it into a package if given the choice.

EATC was not my first choice either, but i came with the truck and the truck was otherwise configured with what I wanted.
A little to get used to it but has worked perfectly since I bought the truck.

I've had to service the EATC twice on the wife's Taurus. Both times it turned out to be a blower relay. But both times I had 4 hours of diagnostic time in it. Now I keep a relay in the glove box just in case. And I don't get relays from Auto Zone any more. I have never had good luck with Wells or GP Sorenson (Advance Auto Parts) electrical components.
