Bed to frame bushing pad?

Was there such a thing for the 73-79 truck? I was looking through the NPD catalog for body mount kits and they showed bed to frame pad/bushings for up to the '72 model but not for 73 and up.

I'm trying to gather parts to take this dumb body lift off my truck and want to make sure I get the correct parts.

thanks!

Lots of different sponsors have them , you may want to take a look at ( Carolina Classics )

I'm sure they have them !

P.S. you could probably sell the Lift kit after you install the new parts !

That might explain why NPD and LMC only show them up to the '72 model year then.

Yeah my 76 F250 doesn't have them either, and luckily that may have lead to the wonderful rust and rot that is there now.

No pads on mine either and i am pretty sure I was the first one to lift the bed off.

What is the purpose of the pads, to help quiet any squeaking or rattling of the bed and frame?

I have pulled many truck beds and I have seen a ( thin Tar--rubber strip) where the bolt goes

though ,and where the sills sit ,and if you are pulling the lift kit probably stort length of pipe,

I would think you could add them . It would probably make it quiter as stated above !

Ok, so if they were not there from the factory I would think that if adding them, since they are about 1/4" thick would make the bed not align with the cab (make the dent not line up)

I was thinking the same thing... if anything were to be put between the frame and the bed of my truck there is no way it would align properly with the cab.
