OT the many ....the proud.......the unemployed

Well like the rest of the auto industry, the medium/heavy duty truck market isn't going great and I am laid off as of next monday. Maybe one day, i'll have the money to mod my truck. Right now i'm just hoping I get to keep it. Sorry just had to vent a little

Very Sorry to hear that. I guess Obama's "stimulus" plan didn't work for you, huh?

No, I will get to draw $25 extra dollars though. I'm going to get a bumper sticker that says"bend over here comes the change"

don't want to get political, but everything has been completely disastrous and is only getting worse as time goes on.

maybe GM (government motors) is going to take care of everything/everybody....

Sorry to hear this Brandon. Hopefully the change doesn't last too long and things get back to normal soon. I wouldn't waste any time getting your resume out there and see if something better doesn't pop up.

Good luck.

Wow, if there is that many people here laid off, things must be worse than I thought. I really don't understand how this stimilus package is going to turn the country around. Good luck to all. But I honestly don't expect things to get much better.

I'm in the same boat, I've also been laid off since November. There's so many people laid off here from the gas business slowing down that any job that does open up it is filled up that same day.

I have been off since March and the job search is a PITA, but not nearly as bad as Colorado's unemployment system! I had to start my unemployment on my previous MT claim and when I had to switch I lost an entire month of benefits due to Colorado's lack of a decent customer service call center.

Sorry to hear this Brandon. I feel your pain. I haven' worked since October. Had to fight with comp for my surgery now fighting Unemployment. The worst part is I used to own the business and I was the one that paid the bills for these policys!!

Maybe there is something better for you down the road!
