spartan setup

Just got my spartan system in the mail...........................Now what? The instructions were rather generic and I don't know who to contact with my vehicle info to get my tunes. Noone ever answers the phone at spartan so I'm hoping someone on here can help me out. I can't wait to get it installed and see how she runs. Any help is appreciated.

That's exactly why I didn't buy a Spartan. No customer support.

You could try to send SpartanDieselTech a message. I don't know him but he is a supporter of the FTE site and I have read a lot of helpful posts authored by him.

Just do a search and you can read a bunch of his posts or topics he may have written.

Glad to hear that Mick got you taken care of He is the newest member of our crew and a great guy. All of our tech support information is available right on the new site; anyone who needs to get a hold of us please reference that. With only one phone line currently, sometimes shooting us an email is a bit quicker.

We have hired 3 new crew members in the past 90 days to help take care of the huge surge in business we have had; so perhaps you might want to revisit that opinion.

He already has the best programer/monitoring devise on the market so why would he waste his money on an inferior product? Glad your happy with your 6 gun but I would never spend that much money on a devise that will void my warranty, programs aren't customizable to your vehicle, and you are stuck with the dpf and the restriction on mpg and power it causes......did i mention you don't have hardly any of the vastly superior monitoring abilities of the DD?

Apparently, you really don't know what your talking about. Otherwise you probably would have never purchased a Banks tuner..... And, customer service is something that I do every day, late into the night and including the weekends to ensure Spartan customers are getting the support they deserve. Just go to some of the other forums and ask around!!!!!!

Gotta agree with mick. I called him at 10 p.m. one night and he was more than happy to help me. Every call I've placed with spartan has been returned and so far I'm xtremely happy with the customer service. Sounds to me like spartan is kicking so much a$$ that business is booming and so because of that they may have had some slight growing pains as far as customer service, but from my experience they've definetly got that under control. Why waste money on a banks or any tuner that won't give you near the options or horsepower as spartan? I figure if you're goona do it, spend a little extra and do it right.

If you go any place else or use another programmer you will regret it, believe me I did, went with SCT, had nothing but troubles with the tranny, ended up with Spartan and Mick helped me set it up and now it is "FUN" time.

SPARTAN is the only way to go. I've been running mine for almost a year and nothing but a GREAT PRODUCT. I'd GLADLY spend the money again for the tuner.Keep up the good work SPARTAN.

I am happy with my SCT, but wish I had gone with the Spartan. Hearing alot better things about it. I thought I would have better mileage gains?

Lightbulb Spartan Pricing

So how much does the Spartan cost & can I do it myself or does it require special tools? I've looked under my hood at length, I'm not eager to jump in there twisting screws & splicing lines.
