Greetings again,
Does anyone have pictures of the different styles of running boards?
Particularly the 5" chrome tubular and the 4" polished stainless steel tubular running boards.
Any comment as to which is better/more sturdy, etc?
i dont know much about the 4 inch but i have the 5 inch on my supercrew. i know they look differnt on a supercab, they will only have one big spot where its black plastic. i love the 5 inch ones though, plenty of room for you to step, espically if you wear work boots sometimes. Heres mine on my truck if you can see
Bry,
Do you have the 5.5' bed? Looking at the order guides, it appears that you can only get the non tow mirrors on the FX4 if you have the 5.5' bed. Since the tow package is standard, if you get the 6.5' bed then the tow mirrors come with it. That stinks.
Sorry, I still haven't been able to get my pics to post on this forum. I have the blue flame supercab FX4. You can see my pics at the following link. If you want to see the step bars.

He has the 6.5' bed. The towing mirrors are required on the Max Tow Package. You can get the max tow on either bed. The regular towing package includes the smaller mirrors and is available on either bed.
