shift kit problems
i put a b&m shift kit on the heavy-duty setting, bolted to the trans, put fluid in, but the trans didnt work unless the engine giving lots of gas :-( could it be lose valve body bolts, low fluid, i screwed up.

Did you make sure you got all the check ***** in the right place for your model year.The valve body bolts should be torqued to inch pounds if they arnt torqued right you might get fluid loss between the valve body and the seperator plate.If its none off these it might be debris from the rebuild one more thing make sure you removed all the old gasket material that also might cause a space for fluid to leak if fluid leaks between the valve body and main body you wont have enough pressure to shift the tranny.B&M has great tech help just give them a call.Good luck.
