door locks and key

truck in my signature...

While reworking the entire body on my rig I needed new doors, found a donor truck and got a perfect set. I stripped all the hardware, glass, rubber etc and had them painted, then put everythig back together. Mean while I tossed the old doors - without pulling the old locks.

Now I have a truck with an ignition key that works just find but I cannot lock the doors. I have found sets through NPD for around 130 and everything at the junk yard is either damaged or missing keys.

What are my options? Anything cheaper then 130 for a set? I really dont care if the door locks do not match the ignition key, but I really want to be able to lock the doors.

Anybody have a donor set they want to sell me?

You can go to most parts stores and get a pair for around $20-$30. We stock them at Autozone.

I just looked them up, pair for $10...

The set I looked up for was for a bit older, not sure if there really is any difference on the 92 and newer ones without getting a look at the newer ones to see how they compare, didn't think there was a difference... part # on the older set is DL15490 at about $10, the 92 set is DL74070 at about $52...

edit: got a pic up on it, the attaching part is a little different, the linkage rod must be a shade different.
