Radio problem
I usually can search and find what I am looking for, but I haven't had any luck this time.
I have a '06 F150 and my radio has been acting weird for a couple of months now. When I start my truck I have to hold my breath to see if the radio will come on. It has power because the back lights come on and also you can get the clock to come on, but the radio functions don't work at all. Sometimes on a cool morning it will come on, but it never does after sitting in the parking lot at work all day. Sometimes it will come on 5 minutes after I start it up and sometimes as much as 30 minutes, but when it comes on it stays on. It has never shut off after coming on.
If someone can help me I will greatly appreciate it, I am tired of having to sing to myself. Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm...sounds like either an internal power problem or it may not be getting the full 12volts from the line (kinda like a brown-out). I'd check voltage at the harness and make sure the fuse for the radio is not partially burnt.
Other than that...ebay for a new one. The factory radios are getting pretty cheap these days.

With the radios as cheap as they are you might as well just buy a new one rather then try to fix this one.
I have 2 OEM radios, one from the F150(single disc) and one from the Fusion(six disc).
