2002 idler arm change

nothing more than the right sized socket/wrench to un bolt it from the frame and steering linkage and then to reinstall using a replacement idler arm by MOOG. the skid plate should be removed for very easy access to the idler arm.
a tie rod puller or other small puller could be used to seperate the joint end from the steering linkage. other than that it's a relatively easy job just check the rest of your steering components then get an alignment.

Thanks so much for the info. This is really the first thing to go wrong with this truck, especially after doing a very thorough product testing for the past 7 years. I picked my screen name because I still have friends scratching their heads.
