Sit back a bit and look at this from 10,000 ft. Your suggesting they will put an engine pkg into a fusion, edge, taurus, flex etc that will weight same or more than a 4.6L V8....
Hmmmm Me thinks your wrong and I'm right on this one, but lets wait until the specs are out with weights and see then.

I don't think it will be any heavier than the V8's, especially since they're putting it in the cars. However, I dont' see it getting much better fuel mileage than the V8's either if it is only supposed to get 24mpg highway in the Lincoln car, especially if it puts out more power in the truck, like some think it will.
