I changed out my fluid and external filter yesterday. Looking at the whole thing, I have a question.
Is the thermostat for the transmission inside of the transmission? Or is it in the external filter housing?
The reason I ask is, if it is in the housing, you could perform a flush using the pump side line. (front cooling line out of the transmission) and just flush the cooling system with low pressure air. This would bypass the thermostat and flush the whole thing. (must be flushed in drive.)
