i know i have the borg warner and know its got 4 forward gears 1st being a granny gear, heres the problem bought it a while back put new clutch flywheel all that good stuff in there and now its becoming terrible to shift do i need to do something with the slave cylinder if you pump it up some it help but the shifting is difficult [yes i know how to drive a stick ive had 2] and reverse grinds like no other. another thing when its in gear and you start it with the clutch pedal all the way down sometimes it wants to still move when you start it. whats the problem here? im 17 and dont know anything about transmissions thanks guys and sorry for the long post just tryn to get to the bottom of this
Sounds like there is air in the system. Did you disconnect the slave cylinder and if so did you rebleed the system after you hooked it back up. These setups are just like brakes every time you open the system it has to have all the air bled out.

Good advice. Also check fluid level and look for bad bushes at clutch pedal mounting and for flexing of firewall when clutch is pressed.
I seem to have the same problem with my 88 F450 (7.5 460) The clutch grabs no slipping just hard to shift. I did find the slave to be bad and changed it out. I bled it out filled it bled it and so on still feels spongie HELP
