1938 custom truck
I saw this beauty at the junkyard and had to have it. I am trading my '55 C-600 towards it and a pile of cash. The original owner tossed the cab on a late 80s Bronco chassis. 4 wheel drive, and the rear most axle is off a trailer. The extra axle was so the truck wouldn't have a stupid looking 2' box. The axle is setup to bear a load with it's own leaf springs as well as the drive axle. There is a stupid amount of diamond plate, both windows are cracked. The windshield won't seat right after being cranked out, so that is something I would like to fix. 5 speed manual transmission, 2.8 V6. I am going to drive it as-is for now, but this winter comes the paint and polish. The bottoms of the doors have some rust, but an easy fix. I drove it the other day, what a blast! I want to put a good radio in it with some subs and an Amp. I was trying to grab an insurance quote, but I was unable to figure out what the model designation for the truck series was. Hope you guys like it, I know I do.
