i'd love to know on your buddies 6.4 how you replaced the the rear injectors on the passanger side rear of the truck the valve coves is mounted under the whole heater core assembly. only way to get the valve cover off on that side is to either take heater core assembly apart or unbolt the cab. I know in the dealerships thats what they do thats what they told me to do on the 1 that we had in shop and i don't work for a dealer.
Don,t you have to lift the cab to do anything on the NBS LOL seems every time I,m in the dealership there is a super duty with the cab up in the air LOL.
Just think it,s funny seeing the cab up in the air like that.
And you never know maybe there is a trick to doing it you can do anything if you put your mind to it I just spent two days between a set of high rails and an outrigger on a boom truck getting a pin out that every one said wouldn,t come out the way I did it.
I don't understand why they haven't gone to tip hoods like semi trucks, particularly as much as they cram under the hood on the newer trucks.
Even on our old trucks, imagine how much nicer many of the jobs would be if you were sitting on the front tire when you were doing it?
As much as it pains me to say it, I may look at the Dodges to replace my truck someday simply for the easier access to the engine bay. They finally came out with a real crew cab long bed this year.
7.3 powerstroke only wat to go i've ownes gm diesels 5,9 cummins the 7.3's are by far the best i work on several 6.0 litres and 6.4s and the quality just isn't there.
