1990 F-700 help

I bought a 1990 F-700 with a 429 in it. It didn't run when I got it so I am trying to get it started.

When I got it it wouldn't do anything. Changed the ignition module and can at least get it to start now using started fluid or gas down the carb so now I am hunting a fuel problem.

The in tank pumps don't come on. If I run a hot wire to the pump it will work so it leads me to believe there is an electical problem somewhere. Is there a relay and if so where is it? Any idea where to start? Also a few times when I ran the hot wire to the pump somehow it rolled the motor over. Is there somewhere where it is all connected?

That's a big truck and I have no info on it. I can only guess it might be like the f250 and 350's with the 460 and electric fuel pumps. These had a relay over by the brake booster that was activated by a oil pressure switch. The fuel pumps get their power from this relay when the engine was running, but to prime the engine before the oil pressure built up, there was a power feed to the fuel pumps from the starter solenoid wiring.

Here's a diagram for those smaller trucks.

Sweet I will take a look. I know I saw a switch on the firewall that has an oil line on it. I figured it was for a low oil pressure cutoff or buzzer or something. Maybe that swich is bad.
