A45090 Mod

I did it being a tight *** I went and got the Purolator A45090 air filter from Advance Auto for $19.97 after tax instead of the NAPA 6637. Then I went to Menards and bought a 3” street 45 pvc elbow and a can of Rust-oleum red plastic paint went home filed off the little bumps to make it nice and smooth and painted elbow red, then took out the air box and very in need of a change air filter and the rest is history as they say! I think it looks great and I am happy with it. I have uploaded some pics in my photo thing on here I will try to link to it some how.

PS I can't figure out to put a pic in this post or get a link to my Pictures & Albums if someone wants to help me that would be way to cool!!

Pix would be great as I for one have no clue what a Purolator A45090 is, looks like, etc.

I looked for pics of it on the net but couldn't find any. Did find an old thread from FTE where the Purolator A45090 is listed as comparable to Donaldson/NAPA filters most use for this mod.

Go to photo and right click. Click on properties and copy location (URL). Click on the mountain icon on the post writing tool bar and insert URL.
