Question about truck pricing

Hello all i am new to the boards and am currently in the market for a F250 7.3L I am new to the diesel world and just wanted to get some info on the subject. I am currently looking at buying a 2000 F250 reg cab automatic trans with the 7.3 with 100K on it, but here is where is get funny...they are only asking 6K for this truck. It is a pretty basic truck very little options but 6K for a 100K mile 7.3L? Just wanted to get some input form the more experienced diesel guys. Also what are the problems to look for with buying a 100K mile truck....ect.

Welcome to fte,you found the right place 100k is just broke in.Some of the more knowlegeable and better typers will chime in soon.

For a 2000 regular cab, I'd say that pricing is about in line. Not the deal of the century, but reasonable.

No it is a 2WD. Also if anyone could let me know of what to look for when buying a truck like this, what are the common problems to keep an eye out for...ect.
