You need to include what kind of hauling you are doing at that mileage.

I only get 8.5 - 9.0 mpg but I'm towing 7,000 lbs EVERYDAY and sometimes more than that. (Truck/engine in sig)

2003, 7.3, 4x4

I drive stop and go country roads in Wisconsin to work, and then pull a 24ft enclosed auto hauler for play on a lot of weekends. Overall average is 15+ MPG with both. Highest of around 18.5MPG last year with regular non towing at around 16MPG. Towing, the lowest as been pretty much about a flat 10MPG with an average of around 11MPG.

Speedo was verified with GPS, and I hand calculate all my mileage. Lie o'Meters, well, they lie.

In East Tennessee where I live. I average between 10.2 and 13.7 in around town driving. I have averaged around 16-17 on the interstate at times but it always end up about 10.2 to 13.7 by the time I get home after a short run.
Odd but I seem to get about the same mileage on a 1979 305 C.I. GMC 2WD 1/2 ton pick-up also.
Both are stock.

In a mix of city and highway driving I average 11.3 consistent over four tanks of gas , worst i have gotten was 9.8 was pissed at that so i dont calculate anymore lol. i figure it is what it is. if i want better mpg's I can drive my t-bird , I can squeeze 21 mpg out of that with my foot out of it. but it just doesnt compare to the excursion. so it sits lol. by the way my ex is a 05 v10 ltd, bone stock

I get 17.5 + out of mine on the highway @ about 78 set on 80 econo, and about 13.5-14 in town, mostly stock or 40 tow. 80 setting shifts too hard in town. Mileage alot better now that it is warming up. At least 2 mgp worse all around in the winter... running almost 100 % bio now.
