Fuel pump
Hi i got a new fuel tank giving to me for a 93 f150 with the fuel pump inside inside the tank
if i hooked the fuel line up from my 78 to it would my fuel pump on the engine be able to suck the fuel thru the fuel pump in the tank if not what would i have to do

Fuel pump
If i did away with the fuel pump in the tank how would i use the gas gauge then . but i just hooked the 78 fuel line to the fuel pump in the tank and it wont start .it has a new mechanical fuel pump on the truck and a new line .then i put the hose in a gas can and it starts right up but hook it up to the gas tank with the fuel pump in the tank and it wont start

Fuel Pump
Well i fixed it i took the fuel pump out of the housing in the tank put in a piece of 5/16 in its place and put the desending unit back on the pump housing and works like new thanks for the help
