i'm lookin for ideas to mount a flag in my bed (93 f150). i'd like to fly anything up to a 3x5 flag. I have no problems drilling to make sure its mounted good. Anybody got suggestions on how to do it?
3'x5' can drag pretty heavy. I'd say probably a piece of 3/4 or 1" PVC pipe and a couple of horse shoe clamps bolted to the bed would be the simplest way.
well, there are several people around here that go to the dunes. I like those I believe the are fiberglass poles?? They have bend to them, but are quite sturdy. Looks cool like cb whips
Use the stake pocket. Find a piece of square tubing that fits in the pocket, weld a pipe the size you need for the flag pole into the square tubing, close the bottom of the tubing, and plant the flag pole.
