Backfireing 360FE

I have a 1975 Ford F-250 Highboy with 360FE motor with the 435 4-speed, i have a backfire whenever i rev the engine above 3,000 rpm. the motor has some modifications, Headers, Holley dual pumper 750, points distributor, its been bored out, and the heads were redone. i think it has a cam, i dont know, i wasnt the one who rebuilt it or did all the work to the motor. i checked the timeing, tweaked the carb, and still backfireing. let me know what ya'll think, any feedback would be appreciated. Vacuum advance distributor? Where is the vacuum line hooked up?

What is your timing set at?

Put some white paint on the timing mark on the balancer, and watch the timing mark with a timing light while the motor idles. There might be slop in the timing chain.
