Finally getting my pop tester together and realized I need a source for shims.
US Diesel has them but they need to know id and od, sooo would anyone know the id,od needed or someplace that has shims for our injectors ?
I have a 93' f250 with a international 7.3 liter with 205k miles. I just put new injectors in and bled out the knock. but it still slow to start and idles rough. any ideas?
Did you change the return line tee's and return lines when you changed injectors?
How long does the wait to start light come on when you first try to start the engine?

The spring shims would be 5/16 OD. X 1/8 ID. The spring bore diameter is .321 dia.
P.S. that would translate to 8mm X 3mm if metric dimensions were required.
Dave, thanks for getting back to me so quick. I did replaced the return line tee's and return lines when I did the injectors.
the gp stay on for about 5-8 seconds depending on when I start it. It is in the 80s here in Florida these days. Even after its been at operating temp for a while, It doesn't want to start as easy as it should. new fuel filter as of Jan.09 with very limited driving of the truck, due to the fuel situation.
