Ok guys i got a stock 2002 ford f-150 4x4 and i was wanderin whats the biggest tire size i can make fit without major scrubbing width and height im goin for the wide off road look here she is
Are those 17s or 16s. Either way for most of these truck a 265/75/16 or a 265/70/16 will fit with no rubbing and 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 with minor rubbing.
LOL ok guys thankee but what does that mean in like 35-12.50-15 something like that and the wheels that are on the truck now are 16's
oh yea and what do you guys thank about her ??
I ran 285/70R17's (same as a 285/75R16 in your case) on my '01 with zero rubbing issues. Like was said, those are about equivalent to a 33" tire, maybe a 33x11.5 . The only thing to be aware of is that your tranny will do more shifting out of OD on the interstate with the bigger tires.
Truck looks great, especially with that boat behind it! It looks like a saturday at the lake to me.
Ok thanks for the help guys i still got alot of tread on these tires ill probably go with something like a 32 11.50 my buddy has a ford like mine and i took one of his wheels and put it on my truck looks good no rubbin so thats the way ill go
