New Canuck.
I want to start by saying thanks a TON for all of the great information on the site. This site has saved me hundreds upon hundreds of dollars
Name is Justin, live just outside if Toronto, Ontario.
I had a '99 F250 Superduty Lariat (PSD) that I ended up selling not too long ago when it cost me $200CAD to fill it up. I recently made another PSD purchase though to tow my race trailer with; an ex-ambulance - 2001 E350 Type III ambulance. 250,000km (10,000hrs with high-idle only). Just stripped the baffle box out of it and installed a fuel pressure gauge (what a pain in the *** this thing is to work on compared to the truck chassis). Will be doing CCK/HPX/Hutch Mod soon... going to put in a DP-Tuner, Scangauge, and MKO 4" turbo back as soon as I get the thing sorted.
Thanks again for all the help these past few years.
Here are some pics of the ambulance, spent a good 6 hours removing the reflective vinyl and crap, going to leave the blue stripe just because it's too much of a pain to remove it (all dried up).
Too bad about selling that F250 PSD but sometimes you got to do what you got to do, your new ride should handle the towing easily. For ideas on it use the Super Duty And Heavy Duty forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum30/ and if it`s diesel the 1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel forum: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum31/
Swing by and post your intro in the local ON chapter as well: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum93/
Be sure to fill in the location field in your profile.
Going to be relocating my under-hood battery to the battery tray that the ambulance comes with, and making a custom intake based on the 6637 filter. I'll post up pics and/or make a DIY thread somewhere for us vanners.
Cheers! And thanks again for the warm welcome!
