tranny shifting hard when warm

I did a tranny fluid change the other day and my tranny started shifting alot smoother and better than it ever has since i've owned the truck. I have noticed that when the tranny temps get above 160 ish it starts to shift hard again. Not "throw you back in your seat" hard but its a good grab and you can definetly notice it. The previous owner said he had a shift kit installed. My question is is this normal shifting with a shift kit? It just doesn't seem right.

should be normal shift kits are made to shift quicker so as long as its now clunking in your tranny or anything crazy you should be good to go.

i was thinking that was the result of the shift kit but i just don't understand why it shifts really firm and smooth when the tranny temp is below 150~160 and gets noticeably harder when warmer than that.... maybe i'm just too ****
