94 Power Stroke conversion.
Let me bounce this off you guys. As alot of you know I've been on the hunt for a single cab 4x4 dually with a 5 speed. I want to build a sled truck. Well I came across a 94 for the right price. I didn't buy it yet.
So what I want to know is, If I do have a complete donor truck, how hard would it be to convert the IDI to a powerstroke?
Is the PCM cubby hole there?
Is all the wiring different?
What about the fuel system?
Let me know what you guys think.

With a donor truck is would be a matter of swapping parts. All the PCM provisions and what not are there. Not sure about throttle pedal studs but that is easily fixed. It would be complete engine and dash harness swap though.

Sled truck fuel system: Mount a 5 gal cell, pump and filters out in/on the weight box, route to motor. Cheap and easy...

i like Jim's idea a lot cody. haha. there is a black flatbed 4x4 dually and i'm pretty sure it's 5 speed in oak hill. thought the guy was trying to sell it and a red 4x4 4 door powerstroke awhile back. they are both still at his house though. not far from your oak hill place.
we can make everything work cody especially with all the stuff you have in the shop!! haha. i wanna work on my truck again now, but gotta wait til F-150 is donee...
