All you have to do to reflash the pcm is unhook the negative side of your battery for 30 minutes.

This simply resets the PCM to baseline settings. A reflash is the changing of settings by reprogramming the PCM. Have the PCM read and the flash version # noted. Find out what is the latest version issued Ford. The PCM will have to relearn YOUR driving habits after a battery disconect. The use of a programmer is a way of reflashing the PCM. The programmer stores the factory settings and flashes a new set of PCM instructions to it. Always keep track of your programmer in order to be able to "return to stock".

Have you had this truck for a long time, so you can really tell a difference from what it used to be? If not, than maybe your friends truck has lower gears in back then yours. That would make a difference.

YES,100 for a pcm flush.looks like standart price just to hookup the computer to see the truck has older or newer version program and they said i had a old program.anyway truck feel same as before pcm flush but like i stated pcm has to learn my driving habits.did you change your fuel filter?air filter and if you unhook the negative side of your battery for 30 minutes.same time clean your MASS sensor with contact cleaner to see gonna help or not.
