Plug Wire Length by Cylinder?
I did the plugs and wires on my 95 with a 302 this weekend. Everything went well and the truck runs much better now that #2 is firing. I used Autolite copper plugs and the Belden wireset from NAPA. I was expecting that either the wires would be the same length or, even better, numbered but no luck for either. Each wire reaches its cylinder with a little slack but it seems a bit less than optimal. Rather than fiddling with the various lengths I was hoping there was a reference somewhere that showed what each wire length should be by cylinder. I guess if someone could tell me the cylinder distances shortest to longest without an exact measurement that would be just as good.
This seems like a stupid question; I'm sure the gaps in my self-taught education are showing here.
